The effects of COVID were felt in every household in our community. For many of our clients who were already struggling financially, challenge after challenge piled up in COVID’s wake. One thing was unchanged: AFTH Supporters showing up to help those with the greatest needs in the adoption community.

We came together not in person, but in support. Thanks to events like the Find Their Footing 5k, we are able to keep supporting our Birth Parents in need.

AFTH has supported me tremendously through my process. They’ve helped me emotionally through the support group and I have met incredible women in the last four years. I am so incredibly proud to be part of adoptions from the heart. They’ve helped me so much throughout the last few years. Including the support that they have given me financially. It has helped keep a roof over my head, take care of my daughter… I love them so much.

It’s kind of hard to even put into words how much Adoptions From The Heart has helped me. From our birth mom support group and having that place that is a safe space to when I have been in need of financial help, the birth parent fund has come through for me. It has literally saved my life and made it so much easier in those times of struggles, mentally and financially.

The birth parent fund definitely helped me and my daughter, because at the time that we got it I was able to give her a Christmas I never thought I would. I was able to take care of a lot that I was nervous about, so these fundraisers helping other birth mothers like myself makes us so incredibly appreciative.

I felt loved when I walked in there. I felt the support. When I walked out I felt a thousand times better than when I came in. It was so natural and open, and I never felt judged or bad. I did not know what to expect at all.
